Anyone want some cheap coffee beans ?

Unread post by Mosser »

Is anyone interested in buying some seriously good coffe beans ?, i have bought 100 kilo's of Vendin blended natural roasted coffee beans in sealed foil bags,
I have drunk just over half a kilo so far and they are far superior to the coffee beans that starbucks and the like use because they are hot air roasted in batches rather than the usual (and cheaper) continuous roasting process
£5 a kilo or £30 for a 10 kilo box (10 1 kilo sealed foil bags),
postage is at cost, whatever service or courier you want me to use, or collection from warminster in wiltshire

That's an interesting offer, and depending on travel plans I may get back to you.
BTW, I've discovered that putting freshly ground cardamom in my coffee powder improves the flavour immensely - about 5 green cardamom pods to a 250gm pack of coffee, ground up and husks removed. Delicious.

Heh, i usually drink about 6 latte's a day on average and was getting through 2 of the £2.50 125 gram bags from tesco's a week, i was getting fed up with paying £20 a month just on coffee beans so decided to buy in bulk, but it was only when i picked them up and they filled the whole of the back seat and boot of my Xantia that i realised how much coffee i had just bought !, so i have decided to sell some at a quarter of the price that the supermarkets charge, i figure i will keep 20 kilo's for myself, and my wife has already sold 14 kilo's to her friends so i though i would see if anyone else wants some before i put them on ebay !

Bloody hell Mosser - that must get you twitching a bit, then again seeing as you have it every day you must be used to it. Ever had a day off the beans? Do you get bad headaches due to the withdrawal?
If its as good as you say I will take a kilo off your hands. (flippin' heck sounds like a drug deal![:0]).. Do you want a cheque or paypal or what?
Cheers

I have been drinking coffee for a lot of years, and this is at least as good as the best coffee beans i have had in the past, if you are nearby and can collect, i will make you a latte so you can try before you buy if you want !,
Payment via paypal to ianatmosser.co.uk or by cheque if you want, or cash on collection, the cheapest postage i can get is royal mail first class at £4.52, but if you know of a cheaper method, i am happy to use it, it weighs 1100 grammes when in a big jiffy bag www.royalmail.co.uk
You can email me for my address on ianatmosser.co.uk
Replace the at with an @ in my email addresses

Mosser,
Watch leaving your e-mail addy exposed on a public forum or you might suddenly start copping loads of spam.
Replace your . with the word "dot" and that fools the auto collectors.[;)]
You can edit it yourself (as you are possibly aware)

Mosser, you ever sleep?
Had to stop almost all caffine years back. Now only allowed 2 coffee's a day if instant or 1 a day if fresh. Had a kidney problem and the caffine didn't help. Doctors orders. Oh and it has to be super milky aswell, blah, spit rubbish. But needs must.

No unfortunately not [:(]. I was in hospital earlier on in the week (big problems with tonsils) but there is always someone in at mine and nothing has been delivered other than the standard (junk) mail.Other than that Ive been in all the time and not a bean [;)]
I thought I would leave it a bit longer as sometimes they can be a bit slow. I always get a certificate of postage these days as Royalmail are quite good with refunds if something goes wrong (I do quite a bit of ebay stuff), you can claim upto £28 and it doesnt cost you anymore. I think you can still claim if you dont have the cert' of postage but they dont like to publicise it.
If they turn up tomorrow I will post onto this thread so you know what the score is [:)]
Cheers

I went down there earlier and because i just stuck a pile of stamps on the jiffy bag and handed it to them, they are saying there's no way to track it,
If they dont turn up with you tomorrow, let me know and i will get another kilo in the post to you tomorrow afternoon again,
Sorry for the trouble you have had with these
