Heater matrix 2012 Grand Picasso 1.6

Hi, could someone tell me if the entire dash has to come out to replace the heater matrix on a 2012 grand Picasso, I can see that it doesn’t on the newer models. Any advice would be appreciated

Looks to be similar, access from passenger foot well. Needs the pipes disconnecting in the engine bay.
