My only click today shows Hertfordshire is blossoming:
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Ours have only just started.
Lazy photo, poked the camera out the back door. Guesswork as couldn't see the screen.

Undoubtedly my Picture of the Day. One of the most gorgeous sites in nature, a Hedge Sparrow's nest with its beautiful blue eggs.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Thanks Jim. Takes me back to boyhood when my Grandpa showed me a Hedgesparrow nest in a low boxwood hedge. The dark green of the foliage, and the brilliant blue of the eggs made a lasting impression and its a memory I carry with me.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
My picture of the day is of this charming village green sporting both a finger signpost and a village name sign:

Now that I am home with the laptop I can see I actually posted the bad view of the green above. I think this one gives a better image and you can read the village sign!

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I just popped out to the kitchen for a bedtime snack and spotted our window sill looking glorious. So who can name the plant on the right which is now flowering profusely?

That looks like a form of Oxalis - in different circumstances I'd be going at it with a weedkiller, but as it's the cultivated form it can stay for now

A lovely bit of moss growth and patina!
In daily use... I see it regularly during my morning runs...
