Certainly it's a shame it's not a 'long' motor. ie: all the manifolds/turbo/everything there.
C'mon guys, only 150pounds. If a CX turbo lump was advertised at that price, I'd get it put on a pallet and delivered to Australia !!

If i had the cash i would buy this to put into vannys car should get rid of his reliability issues...

How do you confirm its a turbo if it's got no bits on it?

I think the red plug in the block is the give away, I think that's where the oil feed pipe for the turbo plugs in, the N/A doesn't have the oil feed since it doesn't have a turbo. Do the N/As have a blanking plug (which could blow my theory out of the water a bit)? It also has the oil cooler on the filter housing, isn't that indicative of the turbo engine too?

My 1.9D ZX has oil cooler and looks exactly the same in that area as my TD BX. Short of stripping it i wouldn't know the difference - serial nos (if it has any) might help. If it wasn't so awkward to see I'd have a look for the turbo oil pipe connection blankers on the NA diesel.
