I was greeted by the Depollution System Faulty message again today and am getting a P0011 code when scanning. Are you able to provide the details of this one?
Here you go:
Fault Code: P0011
Description of Fault: Fault in the inlet camshaft dephasing: Coherence. Discrepancy between the measured and reference inlet camshaft dephaser position.
Conditions of activation of the diagnostics
The following conditions have to be met:
- Engine oil temperature between 0°C and 130°C
- The setting for the inlet camshaft offset is not at the limit
- Adaptation of the inlet camshaft dephaser completed
- No error on the exhaust camshaft dephaser (P11A8)
- Oil pressure and temperature conditions respected
- engine running; No inlet camshaft sensor fault
Conditions for Fault to clear: Discrepancy between the measured and reference inlet camshaft dephaser position
Downgrade Modes whilst Fault is active:
  • Application of a special camshaft reference value
  • Deactivation of the diagnostics on the catalytic converter
  • Deactivation of checking of the canister purge
Symptoms:
  • Stalling after starting
  • Unstable idling
  • Lack of power
  • Emissions outside the norms
  • Excessive fuel consumption
Suspect Areas:
  • Insufficient oil pressure
  • Circuit blocked/frozen
  • Camshaft dephaser stuck

Thanks Marc, is that the wrong code or a typo in the table header?

I was just seeing if you were paying attention :-D

Sorry about that, it was a similar code, but all corrected now.

No worries :-D thanks, so that does sound like my cheap knockoff solenoid could be a suspect. Assuming my new battery is good!

Personally, I'd always get a branded part for things like sensors or this type of component, as it's just one less thing to have to deal with when you are troubleshooting. The last thing you need is a crappy part to add to the misery.

I got a garage to replace it as I got frustrated trying to get the airbox out etc. to get to it. I still have the old one, which I think is a Delphi, they said it's still working. It's a shame that it's not the exhaust side at fault.

It turns out it's a piece of p**s to get the airbox out, I guess the cold got to me last time #-o
The airbox actually needs replacing as most of the screw hole threads have been stripped and barely holding the airfilter in.

I found that the cowboys at the garage hadn't reattached the air pipes to the airbox properly, one side wasn't even attached (maybe this was contributing to the rough sound). Also, the solenoid retaining bolt is not the original and is from something else that has been cut down and no washer. Not sure if that was the garage too though as I don't think the solenoid was the original seeing as it was a Delphi they took out.

Anyway, I've put the Delphi back in and so far no code has come back! [-o<

Hello friends
I have a problem with my citroen DS3 2013.
The air conditioning compressor does not work when the engine is at operating temperature, with the engine cold the compressor engages properly, but as soon as the temperature needle reaches the middle it does not work anymore.

recently scanned and came out code p0599. any idea what I can check?

greetings from Colombia
