Any better Jim?
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Re: 'Fingerpost' Direction Signs...
Oh yes, that's a vast improvement Mick
Some very impressive work indeed to make those intrusive objects disappear!
Can you now please do the same for the potholes in the Northants roads?

Regarding the potholes - I've often thought about getting one of those Road Closed Ahead signs and completely changing it to read : Warning. Road Missing Ahead. Might spur the highways authority into a bit more action

You could always try and get hold of a Hobarts Funny, the Churchill AVRE Carpet Layer. That could help cross the potholes. This is what they looked like;

Re: 'Fingerpost' Direction Signs...
Wow! Love that James
That would work beautifully... It would make the bike a bit heavy though
More finger-posts today during TT training...
A modern and conventional rural Buckinghamshire one:
But don't go east as it leads to this:
It's badly faded and not strictly to regulations... Curiously, the other side of the road has a 'proper' dead end warning sign so quite what this one is present I don't know... Maybe the people who live at the end of the lane got fed up with people seeing if it really was a dead end...
We have many, many 'Ends' in this part of the world... Indeed, I live in one and gives a clue of what my part of Paggers is most famous for... Tickford End

Out and about on a reconnaissance mission today I came across this gem:

Worthy of this thread I think
A different view has been posted in the 'Ends' Thread...
Very much a modern fingerpost... And a bit mossy in places...

They have a quality that cannot be described or named easily.
