Hope you know what it is and can feed us with some clues
I don't Neil :( Not a scoobie - and I don't think it's one of those!

Only this week has it been this uncovered and this morning was the first time I could risk a quick photo of it. Normally its's cover is pulled well down tight on it.

I run past it fairly often and hopefully the next storm will help reveal more of it...

I was thinking the big chunky bumper, the distinctive wheels and twin tailpipes may have offered up some good clues...

Never seen it uncovered but just now it's a little more uncovered than is usual...

I like a resolution of the previous one before a new one is posted up, but we could be waiting some time for that one from Jim, so its on the back burner along with Gibbo's snowy.

This should be a quick one, save me looking it up tell me what it is from the full gamut of Falcon photos ( apart from the one with the number plate on....too easy to look up)

As the badge has the word Tuscan on it I assume it is a KDM Tuscan? :)

Yes the badge tells us it is a Tuscani , and indeed a KDM Tuscani, never heard of them, need a little para on their history and the exact model for completion

Not quite nail on the head see next post its true identity is behind those badges

Having dug around I believe it is a Hyundai Tiburon aka the Hyundai Tuscani

Looks like I assumed wrongly, it appears that KDM (Korean Domestic Manufacturers) make badge sets for customising cars, this one being a Hyundai. Detais here. The actual car I believe is a Hyundai Coupe known as a Tiburon:

I put a wiki link to the Hyundai Tuberon page one post back Mick!

It was known as the Tuscani in S.Korea. and the one in the car park had those badges.

The numberplate tells us

HYUNDAI COUPE SIII 2008

Body type: Coupe
Colour: Blue
Date of first registration: March 2008

Vehicle make HYUNDAI
Date of first registration March 2008
Year of manufacture 2008
Cylinder capacity 1975 cc
CO? emissions 193 g/km
Fuel type PETROL

Quite a rare spot I would have thought, doesn't really deserve it but I'll put the lights on the appropriate thread!

I'd say so, mark 2 golf with the "big bumpers"
The GTi 8 and 16 valve both had twin outlet exhaust but that's aftermarket stainless go faster job. VR6 was mark 3 (but plenty have been popped into Mk 2 )

wheresthisthen?

Unread post by NewcastleFalcon »

Yes if we are followers of the classics spotting thread and inspired by Jim's post this morning the car is easily identified.

The main Question is Wheresthisthen :?:

The large clue is it is at a Reservoir in Devon, but which one?

morceau de gâteau

Come on folks lets get this nailed, absolute morceau de gâteau. How many reservoirs are there in Devon, not many and only one that has that gorgeous stonework in the background.
