I'm happy to say my Xantia has passed it's MOT today.
1.8 petrol 23 years old, 182.393 miles.
Thanks to all for the help with the brake pipes and flaring tool.

the thread did get finished (i think) as it morphed into another thread (or hijacked)
looks like it's turning into a very useful thread though (equipment loan pool)
On the MOT side there are a few more pipes that are minors, start with cleaning and then maybe replace. Something I plan on doing myself.
