Water dripping from overhead switch unit

Weird one this but I went out this morning and some drips of water came out of the overhead unit in the roof, from the corners of the part of the display which shows the seat belts (photo attached). I can only assume this must have been condensation forming on the glass roof and collecting in the unit. Has anyone else ever experienced this. I've had the car since October and has never happened before. Can't see what else could do this as there's nowhere for water to get in.
Any ideas?

Possible causes of condensation could be bad ventilation such as the heater on "recirculation " or air conditioning off..... but, it also could be a water leak from the seal around the glass roof, has it been raining or though a car wash recently?

Yes it rained the night before, and the previous 10 nights before that .
I never noticed until now but I'll bet its the seal between the windscreen and glass roof, must be weeping in somewhere.
I will get a suitable sealant and fill the gap and see what happens.
I feel like a berk for overlooking the obvious

There are no Technical bulletins I can see referring to faults, so I would also suggest you check seals on the roof windows.

Thankfully, despite there being 3 sunroofs on the inside, it's all just one giant slab of glass on the outside and none of it opens so there's really not much more scope for leaks than on a car with a metal roof.

I wouldn't rule out condensation. Check you're not using recirculate and that the air con is left on/auto.

Check the drain holes at the bottom corners of the scuttle, under the windscreen. I had a soaking inside windscreen on the Berlingo, it turned out there were leaves blocking the drain holes so the rain was getting into the ventilation ducts. I probably should have changed the pollen filter, but I just cleared the drain holes it and drove it for a while. It all went back to normal after a few days of driving.

If the drain holes are blocked then you'll get a lot of water coming in, which will condense mainly onto the roof and windscreen and may collect in the overhead unit as it's probably a low point.

Thanks for the advice, I usually leave the recirculation on auto and the AC off. But since the leak I switched my recirculation to outside air. Hasn't done it since and it's rained every day so fingers crossed it was condensation from the glass roof. Is it best just to leave both AC and recirculation to auto. (I always thought the AC impacted on fuel economy)

Air Conditioning dries the air, either fresh or recycled. Always a good idea to run it periodically anyway.
The mpg penalty is almost incalculable.

Pressing AUTO will activate the A/C and maintain cabin temperature and air distribution automatically. Never drive with recirculated air on all the time - it's a health risk and only intended to be used temporarily in the case of bad smells or smoke / traffic fumes in tail to tail for example.

I washed my DS5 yesterday. Even with the scuttle drains working perfectly, a couple of hours later I had dripping condensation on the inside of the windscreen, as a result of the water getting into the inlet vent. The air inlet is pretty exposed, it's only half under the top edge of the bonnet. Heavy rain could easily get in there even if everything is working fine. It's only slightly higher than the drain holes.

But if the scuttle drains are blocked then the fresh air inlet is where all the rain from the windscreen will end up, plus most of the roof if it's parked pointing downhill.

Hi all, just an update.
Since last Post have had the ac/fan speed/recirculation all set to auto and interestingly despite numerous rainstorms and a few car washes there haven't been any more drips from above, so I'll put it down to condensation. Also, my mpg has increase by 1.5mpg debunking my misunderstanding that AC ruins fuel economy.
