Spotted this little Honda e today...
littlelekkyhonda.jpg
Grabbed from my bike camera and cropped...

An electric car that would suit me almost perfectly... They only issue I'd have is how to carry a bike on/in it!

I plan to look more deeply into them... I think they look great :D

Any opinions/experiences of them?

 You're not wrong there Mick!

Thanks ever so, I'll be reading with great interest :-D

I'm thinking none of those articles will address the issue of bike transportation though

I think in general they get a good review and people like them and Honda if they had tried could have churned out loads from their Swindon Factory and sold the lot. Not that many about, and very much overpriced for what they are,
just like Stellantis' cutesy offering the Fiat e-500. Best VFM would be something from the MG stable, but lets face it there is no VFM at all in buying, or PCP ing anything new and second-hand 3 year old examples are way off bargain basement money.

I think I have maybe spotted less than half a dozen out and about, and never collared an owner for a chat yet :-D That's the best way to find out about them :-D

I've just seen the cost of the e...

Eeeeeeeeek :o

Sally and Pix are in no danger of going anywhere just yet! No way I can afford one in any shape or form... The PCP would see off most of my pension...

Very interesting reading your links Mick :D

I fully concur with you Neil... Shame, Honda seem to missed the target somewhat and it could have been brilliant for Swindon...

If I've got it right, it appears to boil down to three principal things: Great car in so many ways but lacking in range and over-priced.

Harry Metcalfe (Harry's Garage) on Youtube did a decent review on it. He liked it but couldn't get on with the camera-vision door mirrors due to less than ideal image quality, and he found the price of the cars was somewhat inexcusable. Otherwise, for a runabout he thought it was OK.

That's a curiously interesting site Mick :)

Those EVs seem very cheap - or are they just models :?

The site Electrek had a feature "Awesomely weird Alibaba vehicle of the week" loads of things like that some of which did get purchased and shipped to try them out. Not toys, small proper vehicles.

Here's one with tank tracks March 4th 2023
