I have just got home from a day out, reported elsewhere, only to walk into another FCF spooky!! Coming home from Oxford on the A40 an Aston appeared in the rear view mirror!! I knew the car but could not remember which model it was so I said to my passenger, Bob's son, look up Roger Moore's car in The Persuaders, its one of them. He duly turned up this picture confirming it was a DBS!!

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
I think I may be pretty adjacent with this one, not giving too many additional clues away by this pic for others to play along. Has very similar lights , and rear over-rider, but possibly a different coachbuilder.

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
Something suggests an Alvis or a Bristol but I can't find any photos, given my incompetence at such things, but I did find a picture of a Bristol that appears to use Rootes Arrow (Hillman Hunter) rear lights turned through 90 degrees...

Shove it up on the "Lights! (interesting and awful)" thread Jim, I have placed a coffee table browse article with pics on such matters today...

I think everyone who is likely to join in and have a go Mike has had the opportunity
This one is a 1963 Bentley S3 Continental Flying Spur 4-Door Saloon, matches your photo pretty well.

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
More of a hypothetical question - but if you were the owner of that Flying Spur, where would you be driving off to ? South of France, maybe to have a go on the roulette wheel ? Bit late in the season to be skiing in Switzerland I would have thought ? Off to the London club perhaps ? Maybe the weekend in the country house (i.e. the one you own with 'a few acres') ?
Sadly no longer a C5 owner

If it was me I think I'd probably be heading to Cheltenham to see my horse run in the Gold Cup!

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
100 right on the bounce you need something more challenging Mick... Quordle does 4 wordles at once. I don't do them myself but am occasionally called in, in last chance saloon "one try left" scenario's. Quordle tends to come up with more obscure words.

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
I do occasionally look at the Quordle but they take too long for me as I do the two nerdles, the heardle and the worldle as well I occasionally run out of time so I always do the wordle second having woken myself up with the Worldle.

That's quite some streak Mick, but then I think I'd do quite a good streak if I found a baby elephant in the shower
