Morning all, I've got a problem that someone on here may be able to help with or point me in the right direction, fingers crossed.
The brief is I have a 09 Nemo Multispace, that originally never came with fog lights. However, while doing some work at the front, I noticed that there appeared to be a multiplug connector going to knowhere in the position you'd expect one to be for fog lamps.
So I got hold of some genuine lamps, picked up a genuine wiring harness (that conveniently plugs into said multiplug) and swapped out the switch panel in the car to one with a front fog lamp switch on it.
I've checked in the fuse box in the engine bay and there is a fuse and fog relay in place from factory.
However, nothing happens when I press the switch inside. No light on the instruments and no fog lamps illuminating.
Is there maybe a factory switch to turn on through software? Or could it be a wiring harness between the multiplug and switch?
I did fit a reverse camera to my old mans Renault Kadjar, and that needed 'turning on' through a service area of the onboard nav/radio system. Just wondering if this could be the same. Possibly need the diagbox/lexia thing?
Or does anyone have access to any wiring diagrams regarding this area of the car?
Any help would be appreciated, I really want to get the lights working as factory and not have to mess around with wiring in my own relay etc.
Patrick.

Re: Citroen Nemo Fog Lamp Help + Wiring Diagram.
You'll find it's the BSI that probably needs configuring. If it's not enabled there then it will never work. However, you need to be aware that these are FIAT vehicles, with the Citroen NEMO and Peugeot Bipper both based on the FIAT Fiorino model. They don't operate the same as PSA vehicles and the BSI is configured at the factory for the vehicle options and according to the information I have, you can't configure the BSI.
So if an ECU is replaced on the vehicle, a 'proxy alignment' has to be done as FIAT refer to it, which basically aligns the replaced ECU to the BSI, but it does not provide any configuration of the ECU options. It just 'aligns' the preconfigured ECU data to the BSI by duplicating it.
Each time the ignition is switched on, the BSI checks the status of all of these ECUs. The presence of configuration anomalies on any of the ECUs translates in the instrument panel as a flashing of the mileage counter and of the date.
So it may well be that you cannot do this as the BSI is Read Only according to the above and the supplied BSI originally fit ted was not configured for fog lights.

- The duplication of the configuration parameter values is performed by the BSI on the order of a diagnostic tool, this function being called "alignment of the configuration data".
- The alignment of the configuration data is performed at the factory at the end of the vehicle’s assembly process, it also has to be done each time the ECUs concerned are replaced.

Ahh, bugger.
I knew it wouldn't be easy. Would you know if it's possible to run my own wires from the standard switch to a relay, mimicking the use of the button.
Or is the switch more complicated than just 7 sets of wires.
Or where I could pick up a copy of the wiring diagram?
Tried an online manual place, but that turned out to be useless.

Re: Citroen Nemo Fog Lamp Help + Wiring Diagram.
I strongly recommend you don't touch any of the CAN wiring whatsoever and never cut or splice into those, or you'll end up with multiple problems. Also, the switch modules at the steering wheel are vehicle and model / option specific, so beware of that.
If you still want a wiring diagram, then I'll need your VIN as they are vehicle specific (please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff).
