Tom Tom maps

Hi all, does anyone know how to show buildings and terrain on tom tom maps. Thanks in anticipation.

Hi, buildings will only be shown if you have the map set to 3D and only for cities or large towns. 3D buildings aren't available for small towns - but more are being added. You need to be in Navigation mode and select the map options on the screen to choose preferences.

Here's a video of the Connected NAV system start to finish. I suggest you watch it all the way through, but the specific bit you want is at about time index 7:00

No problem, I was a bit shocked when I drove into Cardiff with a friend to visit his family a few years back after a business trip and as soon as I hit the Navigation it was like 'Land of the Giants' with all the buildings given 3D perspective. It made a lot of sense as you got more of a visual cue as to where you were, as opposed to a flat line of the road.
