Hi my wipers keep stopping in the upright position.
Is there a way to reset them

Have the wipers always done this since you have had the van or is it a recent thing? if its happened suddenly was any work done to the van not long before it started?
have you tried to operate the wipers when they were frozen to the screen or try to clear a lot of snow of the screen with the wipers by any chance? This can cause the motor spindle to slip on the linkage & misalign the wipers. It can even bend the linkage.

Happened in the cold weather they line up and work perfectly. But they just stop in the opposite position to what they should

If i was to have a guess then i would say they have been frozen onto the screen & switched on. This can cause the the spindle shaft on the motor to slip on the little arm. To sort it you need to remove the nut on the motor spindle then operate the wiper motor till it stops in its rest position then align the wipers in the correct position then refit the little arm back on the wiper motor.
