I don't know where else to put this, but the new DS7's software has some flaws.
1 - Every single time I enter my car, I start the car in French, because the system does not recognize I do not speak French and my language preference (English) is being ignored.
2 - Why do I constantly have to start the hybrid battery charging manually? Why can it not start automatically, without me having to toggle it every single time?
3 - I have to manually accept the privacy settings of my navigation, every single time I am starting the car.
I mean come on: these are basic things; how can this be the case and when will they be solved?!

Re: DS7 IRIS software feedback
1) Assuming you purchased the vehicle in France (from your profile location) then it's obvious why the vehicle is configured for French
The language can be easily changed using the Touchscreen settings under profiles. This should affect all the other systems, however there may be some settings at the BSI level that the dealer will need to configure, so may be worth getting them to do that.
2) As there are various configurable driving modes the Hybrid can be set to operate in the 'Power, ECO or Charge' modes and these each provide features depending on vehicle use. That is by design and selectable.
I think to be honest you really need to book a week off and read your owner's manual thoroughly as all this stuff is covered in there.
You have to understand that the IRIS system like most of the later PSA range stores preferences in user 'profiles', so you need to create a Profile and then spend some time setting everything up as you want it and saving to this profile. Then it's easy enough to recall if necessary.
Read page 194 onwards at least in your manual, as all this is covered including personalisation settings.
Gone are the days of being handed your keys by the dealer (if you have them) and just driving off. Even with some later courtesy cars, with different infotainment systems and controls I have to spend 5 minutes checking how certain functions work, otherwise it's a distraction when driving.
