C4 Grand Picasso Mark 2 Grinding Noise when shutting boot

Hi,

I have a C4 Grand Picasso Mark II Exclusive + 2014 Model with AutoMatic boot. When the boot goes to close it makes a horrible grinding noise almost as if something is going to snap. I was thinking it could be struts on the way out, but I am not sure.

Any Help would be great.
