Hi All , had some very odd happenings with the dispatch . Few months ago , no issues with the van , went out one morning turned the key and no response , just a click from the fuse box area by drivers coin tray and anti pollution fault on screen and emmissions light on dash illuminated . Nothing for 48 hours kept drifting into economy mode , battery was charged to full , no change , ECU reset followed , no change . By mistake I left the ignition on all night , thought I'd completely F****D the van . Turned the key and it started first time , no more anti pollution no more emmissions light ?
Used the van for 4 to 5 months until 2 days ago . Came out from coaching at a school , no issues on drive there , same problem ,turned on ignition anti pollution and emissions light , turned key absolutely nothing . 4 hours later while waiting for a lift , and constantly playing with the battery connections and ignition , it started , lights went out and I'm away ........ for about a mile when anti pollution came back on and van died , back to no ignition or anything. Got van recovered to home , thought i'd try to leave ignition on again , so left it all last night .
First thing this morning , fired up first time , haven't driven it as can't afford recovery again but have run it for 10-15 minutes with no issues, other than emissions light stays on for 1-2 seconds after starting . have turned off and started back up frequently since
Appreciate its more a novel than a post but any ideas any one , I'm at a loss other than BSi issue ??

Simple answer don't go replacing parts or guessing. It needs a proper diagnostic. Anti Pollution faults can be just that or a related cause to do with the engine management system.
Ideally you need somebody with Diagbox software and a VCI (often referred to as a Lexia kit) or other professional level diagnostics to read the fault codes.
Once you have these pop them up with the VIN if you want some pointers.
