Well update ,
Went to 2 key cutters today the first one was the squeeky ass type whom scratched his head tutted and said ooooo well its a bent key it might not work and i will need a code blah blah blah then continued to eat his cake then said try the one round the corner, so i went to the one round the corner he looked at it wife said every key he's had he seems to bend them .. uri geller moment, i have to be careful when i pee... anyways key cutter number 2 did it no problems now excuses only £4.50 , it works unlocks the car fits ignition ,now i need the confident code ? Then i can program it with my diagbox. No card with the code was given to me with this car as with many older cars they tend to be not looked after by there former keepers and things get lost ! So main dealer it is to get the codes i need , trouble is how do i approach the situation ?

Just ask them for your confidential customer code and the key blade codes (for future ref). Bring proof of ownership of the vehicle, personal ID like a driver's licence, and a utility bill to tie you to your address. That's all they will need and can access the data from your VIN / Reg on their system. They usually charge anything from free to £25, so just ask them for all your codes at the same time.

Double check in the service book first if you have it, there used to be a space on one of the pages to write the codes in, this rarely got done so its a long shot but worth a check.

Oh my... i never did get an email back from this place , not very good is it. Shame on you peugeot , shows how long there interest is in there cars !

Well today I've emailed another peugeot main dealer asking for said codes so let's see how long it takes for a reply.

The new key is ready it just needs the code then i can do the rest myself .... hurry up peugeot. I'm seriously going off you.

I've lost track or what car and what year it is. Should you perhaps be using Diagbox?

When you go into the "diagnosis" menu does the "injection" ECU respond?

If you're already using Diagbox and this is launching PP2000, then fine. If you only have PP2000 then you might need Diagbox. Probably with a full chip VCI.

Yes I accept that (and that may be the, or a contributory, problem) but are you running Diagbox (which is launching PP2000) or PP2000 natively?
