Hi dear folks!
Our 2006 Xsara Picasso 1.6 16V (petrol) doesn't start. Did park it outside yesterday, today it won't start. Battery good, charged it, no difference. Keyfob opens the central locking, when turned, lights come on, engine cranks but not a single fire, nothing. How can I make sure its the fuel pump? I was thinking: if the fuel supply is good then the exhaust should smell like unburnt petrol but the exhaust doesn't smell like anything at all.
Does anyone have some idea what else should I check?
Thanks in advance

Sounds like the immobiliser is breaking down your need to get it plugged into peugeot planet to run a check.

Thanks for the tip, yes, the immobilizer is the problem. Since then I towed it to the local repair shop and they did found some error codes relating to the immobilizer. Transponder fault or something similar. They wasn't able to clear the fault code, said to bring it to an official Citroen shop.
