Some places can clean the filter while it is in situ - they squirt a load of cleaner in there without having to completely remove it, but it depends on the type of clean it needs. I can't tell you how long it takes to do but you'll have to take off the particle filter pressure pipe (outlet) too if you want to remove the filter yourself.

Removing
Slacken the pressure take-off union (5).

Remove:
  • The (7) bolt
  • The bracket (1)
  • The (6) bolt
Plug and move aside the pressure take-off (5) using a plug kit.
Remove the collar (4).
Uncouple the particle emission filter (3) (at "a").
Remove the 4 mountings (2).
Detach the particle filter (3) from the catalytic converter .
Remove the seal (which must be replaced on refitting)!

Refit:
Seal (new)
The particle emission filter (3)
The 4 mountings (2)
Couple up the particle emission filter (3) (at "a").
Refit:
  • The clip (4); Tighten to 2,6 daN.m
  • The pressure take-off (5)
  • The (6) bolt; Tightening to 0,6 m.daN
  • The bracket (1)
  • The (7) bolt; Tightening to 3,3 m.daN
Tighten the pressure take-off (5) to 1,7 ± 0,2 daN.m.

Hi did you get to bottom of this have a similar issue showing zero faults but high emissions thanks
