I took out the plastic cover over the air filters in order to change them out, but afterwards I realized that the plastic clip which connects the cover with it's original position, on the right side of it right next to the passenger's door (which for you Englishmen would be the driver's door) is broken . I don't know if had a missing part or how it looks normally, because I cannot find any proper pictures of it online which I need so I can fix it on my own .

I'm not following you - the engine intake air filter on this has one cover and it's nothing like that.
