Controlling the subframe when lowering it to work on the pipes fitted to the top surface (also ideal if you are the only one working on the car)

The result of using Bilt & Hamber Auto-Balm....fantastic stuff, especially when used in combination with their Cleanser/Polish.

And on the Activa, I think this might be the problem ...so that was BOTH electro valve returns leaking .

You sure that pipe is the cause of the problem Looks OK to me apart from the air vents

Leak back lines now remade, sub-frame back up.
I took some time to add a thin layer of wax protection (B&H S50) to all body work and seams in those areas exposed by dropping the sub-frame (....just in case)

A funny looking pipe/seal/push-fit connector "soak" tester......to be filled with LHM and left.... 5 types of pipe, 4 types of connector and 4 types of seal material

Hang on. I wondered why the local band sounded a bit wrong, and one of their players said it was because somebody had pinched bits of his instrument. Now I know where those bits went!

Well, not much to report on my Citroen collection......(Touch Wood, well a bloody big Oak tree) everything seems in order, no leaks, no miss-fires, no squeaks or knocks !

So, I have continued work on the (wash my mouth out !) VW Golf Cab. There is not one replaced nut, bolt or clip, this car is soooo original it is amazing !

The starting point............

Still a fair way to go ........edges, around fitting, bumpers, some defects/chips to fix, interior to clean etc. Most importantly I am taking care to NOT --over-- clean/polish the paint as I want to keep the quality of the factory finish (not a re-spray type mirror finish)
