Peugeot 306 (2001) heated rear window, not working

Hi All,

Any tips for getting my heated rear window, working again and a suggested order for chasing any faults?

Also, does anyone know where I can get one of these for a less eye-watering amount?

Have a good look at the relay in the fusebox under the steering wheel - no sign of my heated screen relay, but a somewhat melted socket where it should be! I can take a picture, but not sure when I will get chance (maybe next weekend before I have time to get at the 306 in daylight)

Not as good as a new one, but some on eBay, e.g.

Hi,

From memory, think you are right, its the big orange one (D) that I'm missing (and would be the heater rear screen) but if you can hang on till the weekend I will check and confirm.

I thought I had seen a labelled up relay diagram, but can't think where! It's not Haynes, just checked there.

The functions of the labeled relays would be very usefull for me to.

On our 306 estate, the wires going to the heated rear screen were fatiwued and broken. Fixed them only to find that half of the heated screen elements worked.
Still half a screen is better than none.

If possible, could relay part numbers be included. I have the green ones and orange, but not black and grey.

Info greatly appreciated.i assume correct colour relays in correct places ?

Also, fuse numbers as seen in picture.
Looking at picture, fuses top row left is fuse 1 etc. ?
