DS3 2012 eHDi 1.6 Energy Accumlator Health Fault

Unread post by Rochy101 »

Right this problem is one of a few that flew up and now have only got these ones that come on all the time . I am using icarsoft CR Pro to diag the issues and just to be on the safe side I have just changed the battery as it was dated 2015 and was still ok but in the morning sounded a bit to clancky just may be a bit rough so thought it would benefit from a new one. We have had the car about 1 yr now and knew it has a rear right reversing sensor out which will be changed asap too. These all came up when the car indicator service light came on last week so oilt and filters to be done this weekend too. The car has covered 220,000 km and has had full service history.

I'll need proper fault codes if you need specific help with faults, along with your VIN, but generally speaking, it may be that the energy accumulator battery is end of life, as basically it is just a rechargeable battery. If you have fault codes though do put them up and I'll see what I have. Be aware though that you may have variable results using aftermarket diagnostics as many cannot read the constructor-specific codes or the full 8 character code where applicable.
