Adding Limiter on Mk1 C5 2.2 Hdi

Unread post by yoseff »

I have a stalker on the Mk1 C5 2.0 hdi with 2 functions: Cruise Control and Limiter (Limiter is not working - that stalker wasnt fit originally)
On the 2.2 hdi, have one stalker just with cruise control.
Can the limiter be activated on the 2.2 with Diagbox?
Does it worth to swap them , or not?
I use more Cruise Control than limiter (have both available on the X7) , but if it can be activated, it's always good to have that as an option.

In a few days i should have a Lexia with me , and in that time i'll have some fun

The limiting function was never available in the mk1, this never appeared till the mk2. It's not just a case of activation either, models with speed limiter also have different accelerator pedals (and wiring) with an inbuilt switch to cut off the speed limiter in an emergency, it wouldn't work without this.

Thanks a lot for the info. It will spare me some time changing stalkers - for then realizing that would not work

It also makes sense that i'd need that switch on the bottom of accelerator to bypass the limiter on an emergency :)

:?: By the way... Could that "dual" stalker be the reason (On the 2.0HDi) that clutch switch was "inverted"? It informs the computer that clutch was pressed when wasnt and de-pressed , when pressed. After so many years of that happening, now i'm thinking...
