A few pictures today to make up for the omission yesterday. The reason for that was because Jim and I attended an auction near Leicester to see if we could grab a bargain or two. We weren't that successful but we did come away with some good things.

Hugely enjoyed our day out Mick :D Massive fun :D First time in my life I've attended such an auction and now unlikely to be my last... I could get hooked very easily ;)

To coin a phrase used a lot yesterday by the auctioneer, I was 'amazed' at just how much I did enjoy it :D

She was a brilliant auctioneer and I ended up quite fancying her. Her daughter is absolutely gorgeous 8-)

The biggest enjoyment was spending some quality time out with you Mick :D Looking forward to next Thursday and don't let me forget I owe you money

I had to pop down to Elstree to deliver the items I won in the auction for my friend there yesterday. As I walked into the conservatory with the clothes airers I heard a cat miaowing. Not surprising as they have 5 in the main house, however I could not work out where the sound was coming from. After some more methodic searching the source was revealed!! :-D

Our cat does that from the other side of the catflap. She's perfectly cpapble of hopping through it when no one's around, but if she thinks someone's within earshot she'll ratte the catflap door from the outside and wait for one of us to open the door

Also passed the south end of the Tees Transporter Bridge last night.

All lit up blue, looked better than this due to the angle and proximity.
No chance of a photo though, sluicing it down and on the A66 in two lanes of traffic at 60mph and basically lost in the pitch dark.

Truly gorgeous and magical to run under the light of a full moon this morning :D 8-)

I'm well on my way to being fully recovered and seem to have an almost fully functional pair of lungs again :D

And, as a bonus, possibly the very last low pressure sodium streetlight left in Paggers..

A rare survivor and only not converted to LED due to the expanse of vegetation around it...

It's outlived many of its nearby LED replacements already!

I found another surviving sodium streetlamp during my run this morning... This one's a high pressure one and I believe on a path not adopted by the council. It being in a shopping centre...

Intrigued to see I ran this at exactly the same pace as my run two days ago 😮 Faster than yesterday's parkrun around a course that was both marshy, muddy and for a lot of it into the teeth of a howling gale with a garnish of driving rain 😂 It was great fun despite all the weather... Splashing through puddles and getting covered in mud is good 😀

There's a little girl lives opposite me that would agree. As soon as she gets out of her mother's car, she is straight into the muddy puddles doing kangaroo imitations.

Until, that is, she finds the one that Geraldine (Vicar of Dibley) found!

Making the most of reasonably dry weather today I went out for a lovely bike ride... Very windy for the most part and I caught quite a heavy rain shower but still good to be out in the (very) fresh air :D

During the ride, as I passed near their house, my thoughts turned to Robyn, Greg and Autumn - as they do...

Just by Cranfield Uni I spotted a blue Clio... As it got nearer the registration plate looked a bit familiar...

It was Robyn :D

Nicely caught on my bike camera... Looking at the timestamp I really must reset its internal clock... Going by the time, our meeting hasn't actually happened yet

An interesting sky and full of the rain that was soon to soak me

I know these Cycliq bike cams are good but I don't think time travel falls into their remit... If only...
