2004 Picasso Xsara front airbag sensor location ?

Hi peeps, I have an error logged that says front sensor for airbag open circuit, where is the sensor and are there any connections I can check are good?

Under the seats. Check them on both sides. Unplug, clean, and plug in again. 99.9% of the time this will cure it.

I would disconnect the battery first, and wait 20 minutes. Then check the connectors (as Michel said) and after that re-connect the battery. That way you won't get an electrical 'spike' that might trigger the airbag.

It’s been off fir two weeks as I’ve been replacing the clutch and waiting for parts. Which reminds me, can you identify where this part goes ?

What is the exact fault code you are getting? the front airbag 'sensor' is integral in the airbag ECU. Xsara picassos dont normally suffer from under seat connection issues as the pre tensioners are in the inertia reels in the B pillar rather than the stalks on the seat, the side airbags in the seats have the newer style connections which dont usually cause any problems.

Seems to be fine now after unplugging the under seat plug. Hopefully sorted for a while.
