Hi Lads,
I plugged in the C5 I just bought, Just to see if there was anything wrong and it went bananas wouldn't run a diagnostic, running on diagbox 7.3. She started dinging and displaying braking and power steering fault. It just was not happy. Any ideas why it would have such an issue.

If you mean during a diagnostic scan then this is completely normal.
Many of the systems will flag error messages as the tool tries to communicate with it.

Oh alright Thanks Wheeler. I just didn't remember it doing that on my old MK 1 C5 but that was 5 or six years ago. I noticed it wouldn't auto detect either and didn't work on manual entry of VIN either , She is going into economy mode a lot too, so I think she needs a battery, Haven't had time to test it yet. The usb cable is damaged do you know what the name of the of the end that goes into the activa is.
