hi guys. what type of oil is good to use in engine break-in period?
engine is Xu10j4r
and i just finished engine overhaul and everything is in minimum factory clearance range including crankshaft bearings clearance and cylinder wall to piston clearance.
can i use normal SAE30 or SAE40 normal mineral oil for first 20 min run?

I'd just use your normal, preferred oil and then drain after your initial run, change the filter and refill...
I don't believe running-in (break-in) oil has been used for years now...

normally i use synthetic or semi-synthetic oil
But synthetic oils seem to glaze cylinder wall cross hatch.
+ i have used MAHLE pistons and rings and im sure that they will not be as good as OEM ones
i kinda dont want to mess it up, i want go careful

In that case, initially use a good quality mineral oil...
