Some time ago my other half decided to go kayaking with the only remote for the car in her pocket, and as things will happen, lost it.
We have the spare "none" remote key so can still open and start the car (albeit I made a copy with my Xhorse coder)
The question is the remote part - do the Mitsubishi ASX and Citroen Aircross share the same keys and so does the tag code with the spare key help to get a new key with remote.
Or can you use say Diag to code a new remote to the Aircross.
cheers

Re: Citroen Aircross C4 2012 aka Mitsubishi ASX - lost key
The C4 Aircross was sadly never available in the UK so I’ve never seen one however I would imagine its almost identical to the Citroen C-Crosser/Outlander so uses a Mitsubishi security system.
In this case the tag you have will just be the mechanical key number for cutting a blade (is it 5 digits all numbers?) they both use the same remotes although they look completely different.
The transponder & remotes are programmed separately & no security code is needed for either. If you already have a cloned chip you can just put this in a new remote & program the remote independent. I see you have XHorse? XHorse generated remotes work no problem on these too which is a bonus
