Xantia diesel fuel tank

Post by c.morewood »

Has anyone ever removed/replaced a Xantia fuel tank or in-tank lift pump?
I'd like to upgrade/bypass my pump to enable me to use my main tank for the higher viscosity veg oil.
Does the pump come sealed inside the tank or is it removeable/bypassable?
Thanks
Chris

Haven't had a lift pump out of an HDI yet, but most lift pumps are attached to the tank armature unit (fuel guage tank asembly). So its probably just a case of pulling the tank sensor.
