Having had a new injector I'm told I now need a new pump and tank costing over £1000. Car is 18 plate done 50k. Any ideas, can afford this.

Speak to your Citroen dealer. The Adblue tanks generally have a longer warranty than the 3 years standard and your vehicle should be within this time, so worth contacting the main dealer first to see if they will replace it free of charge at at a heavily discounted price. You will likely have to pay for the main dealer's diagnostic first even if you have already had one done elsewhere at a non-franchised dealership.

They may want evidence of servicing being undertaken at the recommended schedules and to the recommended operations though (though this doesn't have to be at Citroen).
