2019 Dispatch Clockspring

Hi

I need a new clockspring for my 2019 1.6 blue hdi 95bhp van, the clockspring has the following stalks, Auto Lights, Auto Wipers, Cruise control and radio / telephone,

Dealer price is £380 gbp plus vat, my question is if anyone knows could i get a different clockspring and transplant my stalks into it, been looking on ebay ect for a second hand unit with no luck as yet, there are plenty out there but older units and not having the same stalks.

Do the clockspring stalks have any firmware installed that relate to the functions the vehicle has or are these within the ecu.

There are loads of different models, you'll need with the same number as you have. On something so new, one from a breaker seems a fair bet. What happened to it??

Sorry Richard only just seen this, I did get one from a breakers and actually fitted it today all back working thanks for the reply. In answer to your question I damaged it when taking the steering wheel off.

I dont suppose you would know where the main beam relay location is, i assume its under the bonnet but had read it may be under the dash passenger side on RHD vehicle?
