...and I've listed quantities for both boxes Nigel as per the table I posted - as you didn't provide the VIN. You won't know what you have unless you have identified the marking on the gearbox itself or have it decoded from the VIN. Each box has different speed rations for the gears.

I'll leave it there as as the information has been provided - take it or leave it.

Marc,

sorry for my ignorance, I guess I was just bit frustraited that there isnt any manuals anymore with any decent information out there to know exactly what you have and getting conflicting information just makes you all the more frustraited, Im not being ungrateful I do appreciate your help.
Theres been a lot going on here of late loss of parents just before the lurgy struck and the stresses of paying care bills that rocketed to 57 thousand pounds of debt, and yes I know its not your fault and Im not blaming anyone at all.
maybe I should have left the questions for later.
Thanks.

Just post it in the thread and don't have any spaces in it.

For those that have replaced the oil in the gearbox, do you happen to have the sizes of the o rings needed to replace on the filler and drain plugs?
Despite all the threads about oil type, the replacement and type of o rings, which is deemed beat practice, hasn't been mentioned.

I got mine from a local Peugeot dealer, along with the torx headed level screw. Cost a couple of euros.
