Hi, help needed in setting the crankshaft timing mark on an DW10 2L HDi engine where the timing was lost whilst the car had no belt on it. Car accidentally moved backwards whilst in gear when down of the ramps, there was a pin in the camshaft but not in the flywheel. I have looked for replacing a belt after a rebuild but cannot find anything.
Thanks.

Re: Crankshaft timing
The timing hole is into the flywheel behind the starter motor - it's pretty awkward to get at! If you know which gear it was in then you can figure out which way the crank may have rotated, and therefore which way to rotate it to get it back in time.
