Hey there.
I had read a thread similar but i am just slightly confused on my car!
Basically my Gps / Satnav has stopped picking up any satellites. I have done all the previous recommended things like the unit reset, sync time & date and the battery thing too but to no avail.
I think it may be the Ariel base but i'm just wondering if anyone would be able to help me with the correct part numbers for the Ariel base and whether there's any information on how to actually get the thing off the roof as my headliner seems fairly glued on there!
2010 DS3 1.6hdi Dsport, VIN: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Thank you! Dylan

Re: Myway No satellites
Hi Dylan
Have you ascertained it is the aerial by first checking with a cheap GPS aerial that you can plug in the back, go for a 10 minute drive and then see if the satellites return? It's best to undertake this check first to make sure and avoid replacing the aerial unnecessarily as it may be the GPS tuner internal to the Head Unit.
As for parts, please see below:
If you can't already find the info you need on the Forum, we do ask for a membership upgrade for official parts data as we are in turn charged for this. It will cover you for future parts requests for up to 2 years, so excellent value.
If interested, links are below, and have the VIN as you have posted this.

As for the cheap gps, just ordered one. Coming tomorrow and will update furthermore from there. Even trying to just take a peek at the aerial base underneath seemed like a pain and i didn't want to risk damaging the headlining without proper instructions to be honest lol.

Hi Dylan, thanks for your Forum donation. Any parts requests you need in future just pop the request up on this thread:

Ok, so if you need a new aerial, it is item (1), part number: 9810547980, £72.97 inc. VAT from Citroen
Remember you only need a test aerial with a FAKRA connection. A cheap ebay one will do. Plug it into the GPS port shown at 'B' in the diagram below. Then crucially, you can't just start the car and expect it to work. Place the aerial on the dash temporarily, but you must physically drive for at least 10 minutes for the system to lock onto the satellites and geolocate itself. Idling stationary won't cut it. If you get some satellites, then you know it's the aerial.

Re: Myway No satellites
That little aerial worked wonders. 7 satellites popped up instantly and was able to set a route for a drive out and about. Now to order a new one... How exactly would i go about buying a brand new part? Citroen dont seem to have an online parts store, would i need to go to the dealership and ask for the parts advisor?

Yes, if it's the aerial base you need, the part number and price is as shown above my diagram. You can only order these from your dealer direct.
There is of course, still the possibility that the wiring may be compromised along the way to the aerial or the rear connection at the back of the head unit - so worth a check of the obvious, like ensuring the FAKRA connection at the back of the unit wasn't loose.
The actual aerial loom antenna that screws into the base is available too - these can get damaged in car washes and the like.
Part for item (2) 9810589480, £37.09
