Hi all
My niece has a 66 plate C1 and yesterday morning she went to the car to find the mirror glass missing from the drivers mirror.
I am unsure if it is a heated mirror but i have been told it is not electrically adjusted.
I do not have the Vin but Reg is HN66 FNZ.
Is there a replacement guide, does it have a clip securing it etc and could i possibly have a replacement part number.
She has sent me a picture of the housing which i will upload in a minute if anyone could check it out for any possible damage .
Thanks in advance
Colin

Re: C1 Drivers mirror glass replacement
Hi Colin
This is the facelifted version of the C1, so they have completely different mirrors to the original model.
There are 2 versions, with or without heated mirrors, so you need to determine which you need.
Part numbers for the Driver's side mirror are as follows:
Unheated version, part: 1612467680
Heated version, part: 1612467780
I need the VIN to determine which as Reg numbers are no good for me.
Guide:
Adjust the position of the exterior mirror glass (1) (Following "a").
Pass a trim removal tool behind the exterior mirror glass (1) and unclip the exterior mirror glass mounting lugs (2).
Remove the glass from the exterior mirror (1).
Disconnect the connector (at "b").
Remove the exterior mirror glass (1).
Replacement is the reverse of the above, so when she gets a new glass, it should clip onto the back easily enough by pushing onto the lugs shown.

Re: C1 Drivers mirror glass replacement
No worries, I suspect it may not be heated as she doesn't have the electrical operation, but best to be sure.
