Not without a proper diagnostic and fault codes to be honest. Once you have the fault codes, pop them up. Sounds like your engine management ECU has gone into a backup mode to limit potential engine damage until the issue is rectified.

Re: Peugeot 206 1.1 2004
These errors are typically caused by a lack of "coherence" between the throttle peddle and the feedback from the throttle body. Or between the two channels of either the peddle or the throttle. "Coherence" just means something doesn't agree! If your engine has throttle cables, then there is only the throttle position sensor in the throttle body and not one in the accelerator peddle. If your engine is "fly by wire" then the accelerator peddle sensors are very reliable and the problem is unlikely to be that.Cozens1979 wrote: 22 Sep 2022, 10:13 Hi. If the RAC guy said the error is in the throttle body and changing it didn't fix it, the problem might be in the wiring. Pull the three connectors off the engine ECU and look for corrosion. Follow the wiring from the engine ECU up to the throttle body and look for any potential for damaged wires or corroded connectors.
Failing that, as Marc says, we will need more info.
