Prophetically from our Charles and derivatives theme on Saturday, today sees Jezza plays "Carolina on my Mind" on Radio 2.

Immediately after a rendition of Manic Monday by Kate Rusby which I both successfully identified and enjoyed.

I reckon that "Lily Was Here" deserves 'classic' status.

Candy Dulfer and some bloke with a guitar.

The stamps without the bar codes are obsolete soon. If you have any, use them before the end of the year.

Several, in fact.

Don't skip it go back and watch it, as the first comment on youtube says "just how brilliant is this!!?.....Iconic imagery and poetry from a historic film, combined with some brilliant music......".

A question in another forum reminded me that in about 1955 I was with my dad in Doncaster and went to The Dell to see The Dagenham Girl Pipers and I was enthralled.
We were high above them looking down through the trees. We had lived nearby (about 2 miles) but moved to Whitby in 1951.

(Not The Dell).
I some of their recent appearances it looks like some of the original members may still be with them.
