Think of buy a Peugeot 205 1.6 auto

I have a Citroën AX 1.5d, 1995, I want to have a second car for a spare to drive to work just cause my Citroën breakdown or go for an MOT. I have looked for parts available on 205 which I like the car, there is plenty, but I did not see any parts for auto torque converter, if it breaks or stop working, where would I find one on other Peugeot? If is risk not to find auto torque converter, I will get the 1.4 petrol.

I'd say automatic-specific parts for a 205 are unobtanium by now...there aren't many left on the roads anymore.
