seatbelt and airbag warning lights

I have a citroen C5 estate LHD, the service light comes on saying the seal belt partensioner (It think that's what it said) is faulty. It happened over 2 months again, then a few weeks later stopped. Then yesterday started again. It would seem that a loose connection or something. Can anyone recommend anything to check or look at. Thanks

You could be chasing your tail without a diagnostic check to at least narrow down what side is causing the issue.

a friend has a diagnostic machine and its on the passenger side, I know that much. After he plugged it in it was gone for around 6 weeks, then just came back on. Went off and then came back on and now stays on again .
