Hi and thanks for the add

Hi folks, have just arrived here after taking possession of a 2010 C5 2.0 Diesel Tourer.

Based on the South Coast, in Bexhill and coming from a Mercedes estate and more recently a Volvo V70 it's a huge difference in maneuverability and fuel economy - it's a nice machine to drive but......that dashboard is absolutely mental!!! :D I'm no stranger to Citroens and their peculiarities having previously owned a couple of CX's, A DS and a Xantia but I'm banging my head against the wall trying to get the phone to share contacts with the head unit. The manual is not the most helpful but I'll spend more time deciphering it.

I look forwards to asking and answering questions

Hi Andy, welcome to the forum. There's plenty here to keep you interested.
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Hi Andy, welcome 👏
Sorry can't be of much help with your problem, but I do remember having similar issues with my old android lollipop, but I or was it marshmallow, can't remember.?
I think the answer was, to with permissions in the phone. When you connect the first time it will probably ask if you want to allow access to your contacts.
Best solution maybe to, unpair, delete and start again, good luck. 👍

0thanks for the welcome - despite my initial doubts i'm really enjoying the C5 - particularly the best part of 60 mpg I've pulled in the 1k+ miles I've put on the clock already. Compared to my V70 it's as spacious, equally as comfortable and costs less that 30% to run :D My (step) son doesn't care, he's filled the old tank and is on his way to Germany :)

I'm glad to be back in the Citroen owners community
