That looks like an RCC unit (not a NAC).

If you are not sure, pop your VIN up, but you are 2 updates behind:

1_075_16.1B116 (3rd December 2017)
1_076_16.1B116.4 (26th June 2019)

Please see my previous post. The same applies - you too are several software updates behind. I suggest you try updating your RCC Head Unit first of all to the latest version.

If you have the Citroen App, it should advise you of the updates. Not everyone has or wants the App, so as you don't have the navigation version (NAC) you probably thought you wouldn't need it.

You will need a FAT32 formatted USB, then extract the files to it. Start the vehicle (you must keep the engine running throughout the update process), then insert the USB, and it should validate and ask if you want to update the system.

I will send you the links via Private Message.

Hello everyone ,
Thanks again to Marc
I'm now with a new problem. At Marc's suggestion I decided to download it through the my Citroen app.he downloaded the 4gb update and prepared my usb pen 16 GB. I went to the car and started the update from 0 to 50% was fast. but then the problem started. after almost an hour and a half without passing 50 the radio restarted and went back to the beginning of the update. again standing at 50. I don't know if this is normal. to what should I do. Has anyone had the same problem? Now I don't have air conditioning. Help

Ok, first I would try another USB key (in case there is an issue with it) as over time these can fail as the memory cells start failing. Also, check the download file has not been corrupted.

The file info is as follows:
VersionDateUpdateIDSize
1_075_16.1B11603 Dec 20170053151915438534424 313 661 440

Although the NG4 doesn't use USB 3.** speeds, your USB should be backward compatible, so not problem using that and you can use it for other things.

It's just a matter of trying to rule out the common issues.

I suggest, you get the file downloaded again, then extract the compressed file to a new folder on your PC (don't use a MAC), then copy the contents over to the USB, remove the hidden system files and try again.

Hello everyone, I come to update the situation. the usb pen arrived yesterday, and I did the procedure again through the Citroen software. on a pc with Windows 10 Installation was quick. Arriving at the car, the update installation was quick, lasting 15 to 20 minutes. Everything is already working normally and Android auto is already active and working without problems.Thank you so much for your help Marc.

Hi!
I have the same situation. I bought C3 2017 with Nav system a couple days ago in Netherlands. And realized that there is no Android auto icon, only Apple carplay and Mirror link.
I downloaded citroen app, inputed my VIN, it said that there are two updates for the Nac system - maps and firmware.
Downloaded it with Citroen app to the usb 3.0 64gb flash drive.
Put in the car, first updated was a firmware update, it was too long aprox 30 minutes or longer, then it sugested to update the maps, and it failed in the middle of updating.
I reboot a nav system, but now there is no Android Auto still and nothing happens when I press the NAV button.

Now i want to download files manualy and unarchive it to another USB 3.0 16GB flash drive. And will try again.
The downloaded files are:
PSA_map-eur_23.0.0-r0-NAC_EUR_WAVE2.tar
license_0D01110659D4E6B55AF6_001315031613548831.key
PSA_ovip-int-firmware-version_21-08-87-32_NAC-r1_NAC_EUR_WAVE2.tar

Maybe I should download some another update to enable Android Auto?

Thanks!

The map update is about 10 Gb and the firmware just under 3.

Make sure you only have one update on the USB stick at a time and do not interrupt it during the update. format the USB drive to FAT32 before using it to make sure it is clear. Make sure you keep the engine running.

Do the firmware update first as that is the one that deals with Android Auto and upgrades the system. You can do the map update later.

Two things suggested from posts in a different forum that I visit.

First, don't go larger than a 32GB pen drive. 16GB if the files will fit on.
Second, Don't go for USB3. USB2 pen drive is best.
