Re: C8 DPF Additive
I've seen a reading on an icarsoft v2 which said 18% of said additive when using it to sort the egr on my 206cc wondered what it was as i was going through the booklet and checking other stuff , How big are these filters going to end up if they work over the 100k mark then thats some help i guess.

Re: C8 DPF Additive
They won't change much now with diesels reducing unfortunately and the new range of petrol vehicles. If anything they are reducing as everything is getting more compact to save fuel. My Aircross (1.5 Blue HDi) has a 120K mile distance before checking, so well pleased with that.

Re: C8 DPF Additive
Okay, I need help on this. I've refilled the dpf, but still getting Depollution System Faulty everytime I start the car and very occasionally 15 mins into a drive. There's no counter for when DPF is needed to be due. Maybe not fitted on early 06 cars. Is there something I can do to reset something or is it electrical reset or I still have issues?

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

Re: C8 DPF Additive
You must inform the Engine ECU that you have topped up the additive fluid. The reservoir is not physically measured. Levels are calculated from initial quantities added at factory, metered amounts added when fuel is put in. When you top up the additive reservoir you must tell the engine ECU you have done so by resetting the additive counter.Rp0thejester wrote: 19 Jul 2022, 19:25 Okay, I need help on this. To do this you need Diagbox which contains Lexia and PP2000 software (PP2000 is for Peugeot vehicles, Lexia is for Citroen vehicles).
You will continue to get warnings if you don’t get it reset.
