Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Roxburghshire in bloom....Scottish Borders Coiuncil have been trialing 3 different Wildflower seed mixes at various sites throughout the borders region.
I think I may have photographed all three, but the first to get the shutter click was an arresting vivid display of oranges and yellows at Kelso. Blues and reds at Jedburgh by the side of the A68 Another mix not captured that well Regards Neil

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
As well as the Flora, which was superb on our little borders trip, border back into Northumberland after pausing here at Carter Bar on the A68, the best border viewpoint....
I spotted this little group at the top end of Catcleugh Reservoir. I was pre=primed to look for them, and many would have driven past without even noticing. I wasn't sure on the quick glance, so pulled over at the next safe parking and walked back to check, camera and binoculars in hand.
Here's the first view and as close up as I could get from the roadside REgards Neil

Closer to home.
There were some better rose shots, taken from my upper windows as they are almost eight feet tall. Can't find them

I think you need to change your window cleaner Neil!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Summer is the time for it, the FCF have a thread for it, and a classic is in the eye of the beholder, as proved by one of my recent entries.
REgards Neil
My own personal eye of the beholder will often pick out the "ordinary" rather than the exotic and in a carpark full of Ferraris and a single FIAT 126, I would photograph the FIAT. This particular spot, although a sixties incarnation and almost made it to I-Spy Classic Cars, has only made it to the "advert" for the I-Spy Classic Cars thread. So if you spot something that catches your attention click the shutter and post it up on the thread.

Without a doubt, you could of blanked out the ford and it still would of been easy. Lovely picture though, do it yourself or was it a poster?

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Well this goofy idiot going around Brands Hatch thinks it's a Mustang, race modded with bonnet pins and grille changed Shame it's not a Ford Falcon XB, now that's a car I'd like to see in person

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Passed the allotments where the wife used to have one, would have liked to see how hers was doing now but all locked up, this was at the entrance.
Lots of litter all around. So annoying and unnecessary. I despair of humans.
I propose a huge tax on plastic bottles, McDonalds/Costa etc packaging too, along with all other similar things.
The revenue used to employ people to keep the place clear of litter.
Could be ex-McDonalds staff when the go bankrupt.
