Strange vibrations

Unread post by alex666_slo »

Hi guys,

My C5 2013, 2.0HDI 138PS with 328.000km have a strange problem. In 4,5,6 th gear during acceleration some noticable vibrations raise up in very very narrow range of RPM. Just from around 2400 to 2600RPM. I suspected DMF but symptoms are totaly different that what is known to me from my previuse C5 where DMF did fail. Any idea what that could be or where to start to explore?

Thanks, Alex

Is the car still on the original clutch and flywheel? Is it used to tow a trailer or caravan at all?

Car was used for mainly highway (around 65.000km per year), not equiped with a towing device at all. Yes still have original clutch and flywheel. I did not noticed any other issues like clutch slips or vibrations when start moving or change gears (which I think clearly indicates DMF problems). The problem really exists just in 2500+-100RPM and I do not expect that to be a DMF resonant frequency (but I can be also wrong :) )

that is data from my today drive which present how it is driven :)

I will change the logging in next days and try to catch the vibrations..
