2010 scenic 1.5 DCI.clutch 1 short circuit to Earth

Hello everyone this my first post on this subject.
Hopefully I have placed it in the right section,if not please assist and place it in appropriate section.
I will be as accurate as possible describing fault.
I have tried to search forum for previous posts that may assist,but unluckily I have had not found anything positive.


2010 scenic 1.5 DCI semi automatic.
Dash shows check gearbox,

Also missing gears 1/3/5.
Autel code reader shows.
missing clutch 1.
With fault code DF174311.
Clutch 1 motor short circuit to Earth.

I have tried reprogramming clutch biting points and various other Autel special functions.including cleaning all wiring harness plugs and the other 2 sensor wiring plugs.

At a guess I think it's a solenoid on the EDC gearbox Ecu that's faulty.

Question 1.
have any of our members managed to successfully change a solenoid on the EDC gearbox ecu?

Question 2.
When removing the EDC gearbox ecu will oil pour out from main gearbox body?

Question 3.Is there a gasket between gearbox and EDC ecu?
