So I have a 2012 Peugeot 3008 HDI Allure
My AC is behaving weird. At first it was working fine when you had run it from start when the interior of the car was cold (eg in the morning from the garage)
İt would not work when you had the car standing in the sun. Lateron it is totally random. You can force it to run by turning ignition on and off and it will run for some time, sometimes not. Sometimes it will stay on for the rest of the trip. Turning the ignition off meaning just short turn of the key even during driving. So no full power cycle needed.
The external temperature is shown correctly
The evaporator thermistor is working correctly
That weird thin in front of the radiator has been replaced. No help.
Gas pressure is ok.
Fan speed slows down when AC compressor is not working.
It really seems like some errant signal but I found no documentation about the ac logic.
Maybe a firmware update? I have no USB input. So probably over CD/DVD
Car has that flip up navi system
Any ideas, any help, greatly appreciated.
