Heardle

7 Seconds, had to wait for the voice, but that voice (if you know it of course) is unmistakeable. I got 4 options for the band, knew it wasn't 3 of them so got it by elimination.

Clue
Spoiler: show
Not ready salted!
Crikey that 60's one was easy :-D

Didn't get it, as expected. Nor the sixties one although I recognised it.

I typed Morrissey but wrong that's why I needed the clue
needed the cryptic clue, very northern based at that but got that one, took me a while though. The 60s, I didn't stand a chance, all sound the same to me in that era,
Spoiler: show

Heardle

1999 and the Falcon was floundering, didn't get it, in fact no chance of getting it. I'm guessing the FCF audience will find it pretty impossible too. That's where the NF cryptic clue comes in.

Try typing the answer to this in the guess bar and watch the options pop up. Warning it does require a little knowledge of 1970's advertising of alcoholic beverages

Clue
What was "The little drink with the big kick!" (no its not Babycham but of that ilk)

No idea either.
Never heard of the 'musicians' or the music.
If it is from an advert then no wonder as I avoid adverts like the plague.

The music ain't from and Advert Steve....that's just a clue to the key "word" you then put in the "guess" bar on Heardle.
Yes, I know, too much faf just trying to extract a tiny bit of game playing out of an awful track that no one stands a chance of getting! :-D

Just done it Sugarhill Gang Rappers Delight, 12 seconds. One of the hundreds of tracks that sampled Good Times by Chic. Probably one of only a couple of rap tracks I like, the other being Grandmaster flash and the Furious Five "The Message", (oops yes and Wham Rap!)
