Science lesson for today.
Cups dropped onto a tiled floor don't bounce.

On a similar vein I discovered as a lad that golf balls don't bounce off shed windows!!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Ah, did you know that a blown light bulb bounces and a good one doesn't,
I've found it's the easiest way to test if you are unsure

That reminds me of Dad's method of testing matches, you simply run it along the side of the box amd if it bursts into flame its a good one, so you blow it out and put it back in the box!!

Re: Science lesson for today.
If you have two AA batteries, one of which has a full charge and the other has no charge, if you drop them at the same time onto a hard surface the 'empty' battery will bounce higher. Strange but true! (This will work for other batteries).

Try that with car batteries you'll have acid on your feet.Hell Razor5543 wrote: ↑19 Jun 2022, 13:38 If you have two AA batteries, one of which has a full charge and the other has no charge, if you drop them at the same time onto a hard surface the 'empty' battery will bounce higher. OK, I should have added "This will work for other portable device, non-rechargeable replaceable batteries".Gibbo2286 wrote: ↑19 Jun 2022, 16:05Try that with car batteries you'll have acid on your feet.Hell Razor5543 wrote: ↑19 Jun 2022, 13:38 If you have two AA batteries, one of which has a full charge and the other has no charge, if you drop them at the same time onto a hard surface the 'empty' battery will bounce higher.
